idle seems loud

I know I have only had my 2005 baja turbo 500 miles but the engine seems loud when in idle. I probably hyper sensitive and not used to the Boxxer sound. But is this normal? around 800 rpms it just seems noisy.

Hello Dan, can't help you with this. I have a 03 n/a, and its so quiet, I sneak up on people with it. Someone with a turbo should be able to let you know what they hear on theirs. Mike
