Turbo didn't like it's bushings

Post by Sandy_the_baja »

So my turbo died a couple days ago on a road trip and I'm trying to find a new one but not wanting to pay 1k from Subaru. Anyone know any reputable options/ has anyone had theirs rebuilt?

I current have a mildly upgraded VF39 from this seller. He does the work himself and backs it up. He was very reasonable to work with. I texted with him before I made a purchase. (I also purchased TGV deletes from him)

Here is his ebay store:

I had one rebuilt. I bought a good used Turbo from a member. It didn't have any play, but had been sitting for a few years. I purchased a seal and bushing kit and had them installed locally. It's running fine, I wanted a Mitsubishi. You can buy new turbo's from Amazon for 115.00. They are Chinese knockoffs and no good.
