Howdy folks!
I was out driving and I had the CEL pop on. I had it read and it says I have a P1153 code. The reader was unfamiliar with the code and had me check the manual. Any ideas or experiences with this code read?
Cheers,
-Brad
Has anyone dealt with a P1153 code before?

I think that is the code that was killing me for a while, turned out to be a bad IAC but could also be an o2 sensor.

Looks like Subaru uses it for O2s B1S1 voltage high
Side note: P-codes under 1000 are standardized by OBD2 so they're the same across manufacturers from a lowly '96 Saturn to the newest Ferrari.
(though there's some wiggle room as to the actual criteria to trigger the code). Codes over 1000 are manufacturer reserved and will be completely different depending on if it's a Subaru, Toyota, Chevy, Etc. They could be different from year to year and model to model even.
