Lets lift it right.
If I put king springs on Forrester shocks/struts will they work for raising my 06 Baja without further modification? It's my understanding the Forrester shocks/struts were taller and fit the baja. Or could I potentially put king springs and lift spacers on existing shock/strut? In a nutshell , what's the best way to get the most lift without any modifications besides shock/strut mods?

If you are sure you want strut only modifications... Having an 06 you already have the best OEM Baja ride height, and you really want to limit the strut to frame lift ratio to around an inch for CV lifespan. In your case I would suggest one of the one inch strut top spacer kits, install would be easy, lift result the same, and no issues with alignment, sway bar, CV health, etc.
