ECU swap for 06 turbo

Post by ebo03 »

Just got an 06 turbo MT. I know our tuning options are Open Source or 04 STI ECU swap to allow Cobb AP tuning.

I would like to keep cruise control so the 04 STI ECU is out of the question.

What about an 04 Forester XT? Like the 04 STI it also does not have immobilizer keys. Would the Forester allow cruise control to be retained?

So why not open source tune? It allows for a proper tune and you retain cruise control and all other normal functions. Most good tuners do open source.

Open Source is the obvious answer. Just seeing what other options there may be.

ECU swap for 06 turbo

I'm also curious what else is out there. I just recently purchased an. 06 turbo 5mt. There's tons of stuff for my bimmer, so what swap options do we have for the Baja?
