Turbo blown please help

I bought my 2006 Baja Turbo from a Tasca dealer in RI with 107000 miles and the car was checked by a Subaru mechanic before purchase. 6 weeks after driving the car the turbo blew and now the dealer will only install a rebuilt turbo that he claims has 12 mos warranty. Everyone is warning against a rebuilt. The dealer will only give me $300 towards a new turbo if i want a new one in. If I go with a new one which one should i get? Can anyone please let me know ASAP I need to make a decision today and dont want to make the wrong choice hopefully. Thanks so much

If the extra money is not an issue for you I would personally go for a new one. My Baja is a non turbo so I do not know a whole lot about them but I have heard on these forums that the banjo bolt causes a lot of problems on Baja turbos so it's best to just remove it.
