For some reason my key fob will unlock my 2006 Baja Turbo but won't lock it. I changed to the unused 2nd key fob I had and it does the same thing--unlocks but won't lock the doors. I can lock the doors by using the switch on the driver's door and closing it and the key fobs will unlock it but no go for locking. I'm assuming that it is not the key fobs since the problem is the same with both. I tried reprogramming according to the manual and it seemed to take but no luck in locking the doors. Any suggestions? Does anyone know whether this is the same key fob and programming that they use on other Subaru models/years? Links to online reprogramming instructions are absent for the 2006 Baja but available for most Foresters, Outbacks, etc. so it would be helpful to know which of those use the same procedure for programming key fobs as the 2006 Baja Turbo.
