Bed Protection

Has anyone tried to apply any type of bed protection to the Baja Plastic Bed. I was thinking about using a roll on bed liner. Carpet or mats are out of the question as they only get in the way.

There are two reason for wanting to apply the coating...
1) The bed is slippery when wet and I have already cracked my nuts once, that was once too many times.
2) The plastic is soft an easily becomes damaged when transporting any item with a sharp corner. Like a metal toolbox.
