Here is the most recent Email i have received from Rally Innovations.

"They can order the bar directly from us. We will be starting a group
buy next month when it is ready.
The lights tested, PIAA or Hella 500s should not rub. Others may.
The 03-04 Outback legacy share the same front end and mounting points.
I have not verified it it goes back to 02."

Here is what I asked:

How do they go about ordering the Rally bar?
Do the lights rub the bumper?
This rally bar should work on the Outback, and legacy right cause
aren't they all the same unibody frame?

Here is the response about the skid plate:

"Adding tabs for the skid guard or a lower tube is highly possible. If
that's what the majority want, then we may go that route."

Here are some more responses:

"I appreciate all the feedback. However, the dimensions of the bar are
finalized. There are certain limtations and also to keep it production
friendly.=)
There will be attachments on the tube to relocate the license plate so
that it will not be hidden.
The bar is a complete bolt on which only take 10 minutes to install.
I cannot disclose the mounting points since the bar is not in
production but I can assure you it's vary solid!"

I also want to add the skid plate. I was heavily leaning towards the one from Subysolutions.com Does this company that makes these bars make a Skid plate?

I want a skid plate that has access holes for the Oil drain plug and oil filter, because the folks at Jiffy Lube don't know how to remove the skid plate.

I will pay someone in the DC/MD/NOVA/DEL area to help me install this and put some lights in it, or I will drive to NJ or PHILLY areas if I can hire someone to help me with the install of the rally bar and skid plate.

Can I put a deposit down on one of these bars? I need the one with License plate holes in it, and I will likely also want the skid plate feature.

this rally bar is a prototype right now but if you want to call Rally Innovations or visit their site http://rallyinnovations.com to see if they make a skid plate but the rally bars are not being mass produced yet.

If y'all want the tabs for the skid guard or a lower tube for the bar and let me know and I will forward the information to them.

baja03,

The bar looks great. How much additional cost to the lights add? Where are they wired in at? Do they come on with the standard headlights? brights? fog lights?

Thanks.

Your best bet would be to ask John Penano his email address is: jpenano@rallyinnovations.com I think that they just sell the bar the lights which are just regular 55W lights you would have to purchase seperately and then either install or pay to get them installed but I will Email John Penano and ind out for sure.

Here is the most recent responses from John at Rally Innovations.
"Someone has a couple of questions that they want me to ask:

How much in additional cost do the lights add? It depends what lights
you are planning to run. It can range from $80 to $175.

Where do they wire up to? The lights are PIAA or Hella which come
weith their own wiring kit.

Do they come with the standard headlights, brights, or the regular
55W fog lamps? Again, depends on what lights you want. Typically they
are 55W driving or fogs. This it the legal limit for auxiliary fogs."
