Just heads up there is a new tool box on the market for us Baja owners. It is made by Camlockers

It is not listed on the website yet and it is a new item. You will have to call in and speak with Customer support. I spoke to Yvonne.

Its about damn time someone made a box for it. I watched the video and wondered why they didnt make the lid wider. I would toss those tiny struts so the top actually opens. What did it cost?

Just ordered mine. $480 + shipping.

One of you jerks bought the last one yesterday, so I have to wait for another production run. 2+ weeks.

Shipping is UPS - I assume oversized pricing. I don't think it's over 70 lbs.

I think 70 is still the weight limit.

I like it. I don't like the price but there aren't any choices out there either.

The price is fine, but I'm more concerned with the way it mounts in the med... Only two bolts??

It's not very big but it would be nice to have more connections.

Well, that took forever.

The install was easier than the video I think was posted above. I removed the bed extender and it slid in without scratching the bed liner. There is no way you are using the exiting bolts to mount this. I just drove to Ace and they let me take a pair of the longest bolts they had to test fit. Those were too long, but the second longest were perfect. I didn't note what the length was as I'll likely stop at fastenal and get a hex head in black.

On the way home, I hit a few speed bumps too fast and didn't hear it shift at all.

So glad to get jumper cables and ratchet straps off the back floor.

Also, it rained buckets the night I got it in, and the inside is bone dry.
