Hello everyone,
I'm thinking to remove the body kit from the doors for painting purposes, due to seals covering at top part are discolored and don't look great on my 04 baja.
Has anyone removed those panels? Are they difficult to remove? Any tips anyone have before I pull one off and ruin my ride
Thanks ahead guys!
Jud

Re: Body kit removal
Body Cladding comes off with clips and couple screws. Just removed all of my cladding for new wheels and bedliner paint. Will do cladding and bed in black, top in Green or camo.
Just be careful with the attachments, pull carefully. If you break some, you can get replacements at AutoZone.
The Seal Strips on top of the cladding are about 25$ each. You can order them from online subi parts stores; I can find the part numbers again if you need them.

I would also appreciate the seal strip part numbers if you can find them.SupeRoo Baja wrote: ↑Tue Apr 06, 2021 9:46 am Body Cladding comes off with clips and couple screws. Just removed all of my cladding for new wheels and bedliner paint. Will do cladding and bed in black, top in Green or camo.
