Drop Visor

Post by BrotherBroja »

Random idea, anyone ever think about fabbing a windshield drop visor for their subie? I've seen it done for vintage cars and Semis, particularly mack. it seems like it'd be fairly functional for shade, possibly lighting equipment too. I've thought about trying to make one for my young baja. Any ideas or feedback? [smilie=boggl3y3dummy-ani.gif]

I never cared for them personally. But everyone has their own tastes.

Man, I've always thought a visor would complete the truckish look of my Baja. Unfortunately, I have no idea what could or would fit. Any ideas? I too have been running a windshield banner for the last 5 years now, but it's getting pretty rough...

Peace!

couple thoughts at roughly the same time:

ew. Might as well throw a stack on it while you're at it.

The truckishness of the Baja is out back. The front's a sedan. truck parts on front = mismatch

Visors don't work aesthetically on curvy vehicles. boxy semis or old pickups, sure. They almost work if they're body-color matched and don't stick out, IE not noticeable.

I'm tall, I need the top strip of the windshield. I'm just looking at the hood through the lower half though.

You'll probably have to join the facebook page to see it, but here's a forester spoiler modded for the rear. I think it looks great!
