Audio upgrade

looking for audio upgrade for my 2005 Baja turbo,i see that Subaru oem offers a sub for the stock system,any tips on what to replace this system with,need to get my I tunes hooked up,,,an some more drive ,speaker upgades,what ya rockers usin!

From what I hear, the stock subs don't push much. The only option for subs that I Have seen are boxes behind the rear seats (either really shallow, modded seats, or a box sticking out into the bed), or in place of the cup holder between the seats (this allows the seat to fold forward and project the sub between the front seats). As far as the rest of the audio, most 6.5" speakers will fit, check the depth. I had to do a little modding for my Polk dxi650 speakers. Really depends on what you want to spend. Whether a basic head unit and speaker upgrade (which makes a huge difference) is good enough or if you want a nice double-din with nav and really nice speakers.
