This my first Baja/Subaru, been a VW guy till now (still an aircooled VW guy). So far im really loving it!! Wanting to do a small lift and AT rubber on it.

Driving at Night ..... What's that ? My new project, Led lights on the Mudrat Bumper. Each of the PlasmaGlow smaller round Led Lights do over 3000 Lumens each and you can find them + other PlasmaGlow Led Lights on Amazon :D

I have got no complaints from the cops yet. I don't drive with all my lights on all the time either lol. I only use my led's when off road or on some of the long back roads.... Or if someone has there brights on in front of me or behind me :)

My buddy is on the Sheriff's department here and says as long as i use it with common sense it shouldn't be a problem...I use mine all the time as high beams...

Used mine as high beams...12:30am, empty road...got pulled over.

I don't know about other states, but in California you can get nailed for even having driving lights off, without the covers on them. Not sure how the new LED ones will be viewed, but the CHP is deadly on the older bulb-type.

He said it was illegal. Even though I pleaded that it was safer and they are aimed at the sides of the road to see deer and pedestrians sooner. It's illegal in WA and TX so far to my knowledge. not sure about the lower ones though.
