Just picked this ole gal up the other day. She is very rough around the edges with 220,000 miles of Idaho farm life, but the thing is virtually rust free.

She needs just about everything looked at, but still manged to run and sort of drive so I have a good start.

All of that "patina" is easier than dealing with rust. Any specific plans for restoration or mods?

I won't do much body work wise. But plan is to clean up interior and wiring. Toss some 195 75 14 mud tires on with custom bumpers and.rocker guards.

Maybe a ej22 swap if I find alone cheap enough.

Well couldn't pass up a $200 legacy with 2.2 so looks like that 2.2 swap is coming soon

Can anyone tell me where the cable that is supposed to be on the brake valve should go too? and what it does?

The cable on the brake valve is the "hill holder". When the clutch is depressed it prevents the truck from rolling backwards while starting on a hill when you remove your foot from the brake pedal. IIRC it also connects to the clutch pedal.

Nice Brat BTW, cant wait to see what you do with it.
