Re: What have you hauled? Post Pics !!!

You know, if I had that damage, and those parts, I would seriously consider making my Baja a "long bed" (adding about a foot between the wheel and bumper). Dennis Wish I thought of that lol! The baja has been fixed already but unfortunately I need another silver door and the junkyards hav...

Re: What have you hauled? Post Pics !!!

I hauled nearly a quarter of a Baja, in the bed. It's like Baja-ception!

The junkyard wouldn't sell me any less, even though my body guy only used a couple feet of sheetmetal to repair the damage.

Thank you 2004Baja. Soobytoo58, I'd like to see yours as well. The basic idea behind posting pictures is opening an account on a free image hosting website. You upload your pictures to that website, then copy the "BBS code" link for each picture into the thread here. I use Imgur, and I don...

Re: WTB Original Baja bike rack

Would you post a pic when you're done? This is something I'm interested in too If you're asking me, you would need to give me step by step instructions on how to add photos here. I don't have a clue how to do it. Are you using a phone or Computer? Because computer is going to be way easier to uploa...

Re: Seeking suggestions from the experts

Sounds like you're realistic about the Baja. That's good. The west coast ones shouldn't have any or much rust. Mine is from Florida but ended up in Oregon where I bought it. Not a spec of rust on it.

Re: Mass Air Flow Sensor ‘05 Baja Non Turbo location on engine?

It has a MAP sensor on the non-turbo. The turbos have both a MAP and MAF, so I'd have to assume you were sold a turbo's maf. What was the exact code you got?

Re: Seeking suggestions from the experts

I don't think they are worth the money. I like mine a ton, but... My old outback was way more practical, cheaper and sat 1 more person.

I could haul longer things out of the elements with the outback. On road trips we could fit all of our things inside the trunk.

Re: Just bought an 03 Baja

Car-part.com, it's under "engine crade." Pick one from the west coast. Same part as 2000-04 legacy outback.

I have an outback grill on my 03 Baja.

Guacamole why do you keep saying Gen 2 Legacy? My 92 Legacy SS is a gen one, what do you call the generation after that?

Re: 2006 a/c question

Most of the oil resides in the compressor. Guessing how much oil a system needs or has is just that, a guess. From experience too much oil is a bad thing.

Re: Sunroof issues

You guys just revealed another problem I have. My sun roof opens fine, but when I close it, it goes a few inches then stops, hit the switch again and it closes all the way. I'm still trying to find something that worked correctly on my Baja. John, that's a safety feature that all Subaru sunroofs ha...
