Re: 2006 Baja Sport
I didn't see it mentioned, so I suggest you check your brakes for uneven wear. I had a sound the sounded just like a bad bearing and after replacing just about everything in the suspension I did the calipers and now sound gone.

Re: Double DIN head unit w/backup camera
is there such thing as a head unit running normal Android instead of the "android for radios" or whatever proprietary built in stuff (like AppRadio) where I cannot simply load apps like I do my phone? There are, and my friend got one for his Acura. The feature set was pretty rich... GPS, ...

Re: Baja Turbo jerking on acceleration.
Does it do it more when the AC is on? Do you have a scan tool that does real time scanning, if so check the temps also check pending fault codes. I had a problem where I would lose power with the AC on at low RPM, tried IAC valve new ecu probably a mile of vacuum hose... turned out to be the spark p...

Re: In need of a Spare Tire "Donut" for a 06 baja turbo
Get a halitron extinguisher, trust me you do not want to replace all the wiring or electronics in your car. I used an abc on my outback when I had a fuel leak and even though I put it out in less the thirty seconds the chemical from the abc destroyed the electrical. BC are much more expensive but yo...

Re: Heated seats - Is there a fuse and where?
Related Q if you don’t mind? I’m finding random unplugged “sockets” in engine bay, under dash (found OBD docket last night:), under driver seat...best way to go about identifying them (without asking mechanic)? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Most (all?) of those sockets are diagnostic ports and...

Re: Heated seats - Is there a fuse and where?
IMHO Subaru seat heater elements suck, the wire that connects to the pad is probably busted off. You probably need something like: https://www.amazon.com/Tech-Era-Carbon-Heater-Setting/dp/B008D2LIRG/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1528155980&sr=1-2&keywords=seat+heater+kit and h...

Re: ABS Normal?
Also Subaru abs sucks out loud, it is common where I drive for people to replace the abs fuse with a burnt out one. Why? because on dirt roads the abs will kick in and reduce the braking to about 1/3 and you will slide right through the intersection.

Re: Would an EJ20 2 liter be compatible in an 05’ Turbo?
That sounds fishy, I am not an expert but why would someone drop in a ej20 when there are plenty of available ej25. But even if they did what is this code it needs to run "better"? Do you have a check engine light on? is it running rough, or poorly?

Re: Baja OEM switch options
There seems to be some difference between brands, but for the most part since you are pushing in so as long as you dont pull they sit fine.
