Heated seats, yes, I believe so. Pretty sure the bed cover was still an optional extra.

Re: Headlight Housing
What's the difference in the housing ? I though they where the same turbo and non turbo... It was more of a difference between the Sport and non-Sport ones: "A lower priced "Sport" model, equipped with cloth interior and manually-adjustable seats followed later in the production year...

Re: HELP! POWER STEERING LEAK! LINE MELTED ON EXHAUST?
For finding out part numbers, parts.subaru.com is the first place I go: http://parts.subaru.com/a/Subaru_2003_Baja25L-ATS-PICK-UP/_54100_6028400/POWER-STEERING-SYSTEM/B12-346-01.html All of the part numbers in the diagram are listed below, or you can click on the [+] button next to each part in the ...

Re: New Baja owner with a list of questions
Wow, quite a story. Were the plugs already damaged, or did the socket do that? I thought all spark plug sockets have rubber with a small hole at the top of the socket to prevent damage when removing and hold the plug while inserting. I just did mine, and with the air intake and washer bottle removed...

Re: in cab latch and safety hood latch both failed and....
If you end up replacing the latch, before you fully close the hood, make sure the cable is connected properly and it unlocks properly. When I was looking into mine, I completely forgot to reconnect the cable before closing the hood..... Luckily you can actually unbolt the hood latch while the hood i...

Re: Subaru Baja MPG thread
Are you still getting the same improved fuel economy? I once accidentally filled with 91 instead of 87, and it felt that I got substantially better mileage. However, as I continued using 91, the fuel economy dropped back to what is was (around 22 MPG). Not at all a controlled test, but wondering wha...

Re: ???Chips???
I haven't used it, but looking at how similar chips are wired, it doesn't look like a good thing. It seems the cheap ones simply splice a resistor into a sensor wire, causing the ECU to think it's running leaner/richer/cooler/hotter/etc. than it really is. Therefore, your engine will be running out ...

Re: in cab latch and safety hood latch both failed and....
I recently bought a 2002 Outback where this happened to the previous owner, too. Although, in this case, it was because the three bolt that secure the latch mechanism were loose, and the hood wasn't latching properly. Tightened the three bolts, and never had a problem since.

Re: Door light on baja
Are the lights on the dashboard working for all of the doors, indicating which of the four doors are open? If so, at the very least, we know the switches are working.

Re: Door light on baja
Which door light are you referring to? The courtesy light to illuminate the ground, or the lights in the dashboard to indicate which doors are open?

Re: Upgrading suspension on 2003 NA
I thought I read the recommended max is 1.5" to 1.75" of lift before things start wearing out faster... It'll likely work, but my guess is it'll accelerate CV joint wear. I haven't done it, so can't say for sure. Maybe a few others on here can give more insight.

WOW! Very impressive! I'll have to eventually do that to my Baja, which spent most of its life in Toronto. Nice to see another Ontario plate in here!
