Does anyone know what type of lock is being used to lock the cover to the tailgate? Looking at the pictures it looks like a dead bolt that you would find at Lowes. I would think they could figure out a better way to lock the cover without have this large chunk of material mounted to the tailgate. Ca...

I am also looking into the Ozzbros cover and had a question about the lock system that they use. From the pictures on the site it is hard to tell exactly how high off the tail gate the bracket sits as well as the type of lock that is being used for the cover. I am worried about the lock freezing in ...

Fuel Brand vs. Gas Mileage vs. Savings
I would like to know if anyone has data to showing that there are benefits running higher priced gas, lets say from Mobil compared to a lower priced gas from Cumberland Farms.
Octaine grades are 93
Price saving is about 5 cents a gal, comparing Mobil to Cumberland Farms.
Thanks
Rick

Engine knock resolved
The engine knock was being produced by the timing belt tensioner. The noise only happened when the temperture dropped below 60F after the engine was warm the noise would go away.

Greddy Informeter Installed instead of a boost gauge
I was planning to install a boost gauge but then started looking into the new plug and play OBD2 gauges. I was going to purchase the dashhawk but was quick to find out the it only works with CAN OBD2 systems, which my 2006 turbo baja is not. It is a straight OBD2 system. That left only the Greddy In...

Poorly Manufactured Drilled and Slotted Rotors
I have run into an issue with the rotors that I purchased from Brake Planet. After a few hundred miles they have started to cause a front end virbration at highway speed. I have had the wheels balanced and the front end aligment inspected. The mechanic has also inspected the suspension and drive sha...

Vibration at 65 to 75 MPH
My 2006 baja turbo just started to suffer from a vibration that you can feel on the floor boards and the seat of your pants. Steering vibration is minimal. While driving only at 65 to 75 MPH I get a vibration, any speed lower then 65 or higher than 75 the vibration is gone. I am thinking it may be r...
