Re: Pushbar and side bar options
I just picked up a used Tacoma bar with NEW hardware for $30 yesterday. Did you have to cut/trim the bottom of the bumper cover? I’m buying/testing a few hardy home wooden deck metal plates from Lowes to see if the are better than included mounting brackets at positioning the bull bar without modif...

Re: Where does Throttle Body coolant line go/come from?
Thank you very much for looking this up. Although there is no clear picture providing an answer, based on the text description it sounds like that is a coolant input. If that is the case then I'll just make sure something feeds into it. Simple right?? What could go wrong
Thanks again!

Where does Throttle Body coolant line go/come from?
I'm still trying to put my 2005 Baja (Turbo 5 spd) back together. I am stumped right now with the throttle bottle coolant line? Looking from the firewall at the throttle body there is a small coolant pipe coming out from the bottom of the TB. I can't for the life of me figure out where that goes or ...

By all means, if you would like to a beer (or as many as you like) ... do stop by. It would be great to have a properly plumbed car to use as a reference. I am in Horsham, PA 19044 give me a shout when you get a chance.

Looking for Subie Expert Near Phila
I have a 2005 Baja Turbo that I am rebuilding and need help with PVC lines and other peripheral plumbing. I am in Horsham, PA. Any experts nearby that can spare 30 mins, share a beer, I'd even be willing to pay $$ for an expert to help.
Thanks,

Looking for plumbing diagram for air intake tube
I’m in the process of reassembly after pulling the motor (turbo 5 sped) to reseal, new clutch, new turbo, new ac, new radiator. I’m almost done and am scratching my head on some of the lines on the air intake and others around it as some of my marks are not not legible. Does anyone have a diagram of...

Re: Pushbar and side bar options
Attaching the bracket to the car I used one bolt on each side. I was thinking I’d have to drill for a second bolt on each side but after mounting it to see how things fit, the brackets pivot and lean up against the bumper frame and can’t pivot further. So one bolt per side was sufficient. Then there...

Re: Pushbar and side bar options
Amazon has this Tacoma bull bar
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LZ8XIX6/re ... AFb4A447TV
for $97 so I ordered one for my 2005 Baja. I mounted it yesterday. It feels solid and looks great to me.
I hope to fab a skid plate and mount a winch if possible as well.

Re: Rear end noise 2005 Baja Turbo MT
Wanted to circle back and give this issue closure, for me anyway. I have not gone back in a second time as what noise I still had appears to have stopped just by driving ... probably about 50 to 75 miles some of which was hard left and right turns. So my grinding noise was indeed the dust shield.

Re: Rear end noise 2005 Baja Turbo MT
FWIW - Looking at the dust shield in the area indicated in the NASIOC post I saw shiny area where rubbing was likely occurring. So I got my grinder and did a little surgery trimming the dust shield area that was shinny and finished it by painting it black. The grinding noise did stop but only when g...

Re: Rear end noise 2005 Baja Turbo MT
While I'm still looking for any suggestions, I found this on the NASIOC site... https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1269334&highlight=rear+end+grinding+noise A description of the exact noise and symptoms I am experiencing. This actually even explains all why I saw so much dust buil...

Rear end noise 2005 Baja Turbo MT
I am getting a grinding noise from what I thought was one or both rear wheels, but now I'm not sure if its coming from the hub area or the differential, or ?? ... but definitely something from between the driveshaft to the one or both hubs. Its a clear grinding sound with a frequency and gets worse ...

Re: CV axles for turbo 5-speed?
I know this is an old post, but I'm trying to order axles for the rear of my 2005 MT Turbo Baja ... are the rear axles the same for AT and MT? All I'm finding online are rear axles that specify they are for Turbo AT Baja. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
