Re: Baja driving position compared to 4x4 pickups

I think he is asking about how high the seat is off the floor. If so I know the seat is 1-2" lower the a forester (I have fozzy seats in mine) and look to be about 3-4" lower then my 85 toyota truck

Re: Anybody ever changed a speedometer

Can't speak to the miles on title issue, but as long as the cluster is compatible it should be a direct swap. I put in a cluster from another baja in mine fow a couple of months while I was messing with my led conversion and swapped back with no issues.

Re: Multiple missfires

I have had two Subies with misfire and turned out to be bad spark plug wires, also I was told egr issues can sometimes cause misfire on one of the cylinders (I think 4). But I am no mechanic so take anything I say with salt.

Sorry, I have been busy with work but I will pull off the panel this weekend and give you the color for the wire that has power when the door is open.

Re: How is the stereo wired up in a 2003 model?

Mine had the premium and I looked at one yesterday with the non premium (no changer/tweeters) and the connector looks the same. Mine system is... very custom, so not a lot of wires left from stock. I don't think it matters though because the stock tweeters wire to the door speakers and the sub is it...

Re: Dash Light Color Conversion w/ pics!

Thought.. is there anyway to set it up so it changes colors between night and day.. say blue during the day and red at night? Just like headlights go on during the night in some vehicles or when it starts raining. I get that functionality may not be built into the Stock Baja and it would require ei...

I did some of my lights blue at first but it just killed my eyes, now everything is red and amber and it is way easier on my eyes at night.

I don't think the wires were for an input, I would say it had a gps navigation and maybe a remote radar detector.

Re: Dash Light Color Conversion w/ pics!

can anyone tell me what lumens to get for the T10 - 194 gauge lights. There are several choices at superbrightled. Thank you. It has been a while and this is from memory: the t10 are the big lights for when the headlights are on so they are adjustable so I would say get ones on the brighter side, b...
