Re: 05 Baja Turbo A/T w/ NEW MOTOR SoA Warranty!
300 on the new motor which was just built.
over 150K on the vehicle
As all the repair drama has lead to an open Bureau of Automotive Repair case, and I was without it for so long I had to buy something else, I want it gone.
As it happens it looks to be leaving tonight. End of an era of drama.

Re: Any problems with your Baja????
big problem is that it's was the only vehicle my family owns, so there's no backup to drive in the meantime, and Im an apartment dweller with no garage or place to work on such a thing or break out the heavy tools for multi day repairs. the dealership was necessary to get a free loaner car as there ...

Re: Any problems with your Baja????
okay so after the car was "almost back" we finally thought everything was sorted out. less than two months later, the rattling I was told to expect as normal, was not. Engine shut down on along the highway after rattling got so bad it filled the cabin. Car would not restart. Seems "fo...

Re: 2006 Baja shooting codes - Help
Mine has been at the dealer for almost 2 weeks now with the P0011 and P0021 codes. they've pulled the motor and have the heads off to inspect for oil flow issues. Still no official word other than the service manager saying they "think" they found a blockage, but that's what they said the ...

Re: P0011 code
yeah been digging thru the internet for over a week on this. we've removed and cleaned the cam position sensors. Removed, cleaned and even replaced the bank 1 AVCS oil control valve. Made sure to use the recommended oil brands and weight. so next its onto checking the timing. We hope the belt was in...

P0011 code
so it's been over a year and my Baja is, after the first block failed, almost out of the shop. We've got about 500 miles on the new block so far. Seems to run great except for every 2 heat cycles, I get the P0011 code. We've removed and cleaned the sensors, and replaced the OCV valve. Error still co...

Re: Double DIN head unit w/backup camera

Re: Baja 2005 Turbo piston knocking
I bought my 06 Baja Turbo in late March last year. Last week of November it baked a valve, and took out a piston. I'm looking at a bit more than $4500 when it's all done. All new block, heads, valves, cam pulleys-ported and polished, etc. At least I bought the car in full at the time. and got a dece...
