Re: Quick Opinion NEEDED!!!

Other turbo users will know more about this issue than me, but I keep hearing that you should definitely remove the banjo bolts on the turbo. Those tend to be the number 1 reason for turbo failure. They clog up and cause problems, so if you go with the turbo, remove those banjo bolts! A forum search...

Re: Cigarette Lighter/Power Port dead

I had the same dead cigarette lighter issue when I got my Baja. I ended up replacing the entire cigarette lighter unit a few months ago and now it works fine. I'm pretty sure my fuse link was shot because I checked my 20A fuse and it was fine.

Not bad but I miss the roll bars. Love the Crosstrek wheels, though.

Re: Micro Machines Baja

I would have bid if it hadn't gone for $140! Yeah it's pretty crazy how much they go for. The one I tried to get last Summer went for over $200. I had my max bid at $200 but someone else went over and I lost out on it. I'm going to try to sell the other cars it comes with individually and see if I ...

Micro Machines Baja

So yesterday I was able to snag the ever elusive Micro Machines Baja that was only released in Europe. http://m2museum.com/Cars/Subaru/20060609%20006.jpg It popped up on my Ebay feed last week and I was able to snipe it and win it at the last second. Been looking for one for a while and I almost had...

Re: Baja WRX - Car? Truck? Turbo!

Saw this colour in person at a car show, and it blew me away. Looks stunning in person. If Subaru had a blue/silver colorway like this for the Baja I think I'd have that ove...

Re: new JBL stereo speakers

Your rear speakers are there but are probably dead. Baja factory speakers have the life expectancy of a housefly it seems. I would look into getting the tweeter kit for the doors if you don't already have them. They add clarity and are super easy to install.

Re: New to me, 2003 Baja - Hi!

The sliding thing could be from the lack of weight on the rear tires due to it being an open truck bed back there, albeit a small one.

So far I've only driven in some mild snow in my Baja twice but it has handled excellently both times. I like to keep it safe though, and didn't try to test anything.

Re: Why no sound?

The speakers are most likely dead. For some reason the stock Baja speakers are really poorly made and just die for no reason. My Baja came with only one working speaker. Replacing the speakers with new ones should do the trick. It is very unlikely anything is wrong with your head unit. Your wiring i...

Re: New to me, 2003 Baja - Hi!

That's a beautiful Baja and congrats! Your color combination was my second favorite choice after yellow. I have a Baja group on Google+ if you are interested in joining although there's barely any activity on it. You can find it if you run a search for it in Google+. I think overall this forum is th...
