Toy Baja?

Post by Baja jaja »

Anyone know of any toy or model Baja was ever made? Matchbox, Hot wheels, even a kit?

:( Unfortunatley there was never a little diecast or plastic model of our Bajas. There is a Legacy kit out however.

There's a paper one someone posted a while back....I have it saved on a CD somewhere, but I never did get around to printing it & making it. It's even yellow with the sport lights!

Edit: here's a link to that thread: viewtopic.php?t=269&highlight=paper+baja

I tried printing that, but it was too big to fit on my paper. I need to slightly shrink it. Unfortunately the junky programs Dell includes with its computers are expired and I am NOT going to pay for them. I need to get off my butt and install my old school paint shop pro 4 (since I know how to use it really well anyway)

Neat cutout though.

That cutout is in the Baja Library on this site! I printed it at 50%, which makes it kinda hard to cut out and fold neatly but it came out kinda cute. It'll have to do, at least for now.

I inserted the cut-out in MS-Word, enlarged it to fit letter size paper and printed it on card stock. It came out pretty decent.

Looks like a stop at the local toys r us might be in order this weekend, if theres anything left in my wallet after Princess Auto and the camera shop.

It may be worth a shot, but that set was sold in the Netherlands, so who knows if it ever made it across the pond.
