Greetings!
So I recently picked a 2001 outback 3.0 (non-VDC) for dirt cheap. It's headgaskets are bad but other than that it is running very good. I did some reading on what it takes to swap the EZ30 and it seems fairly simple and I think I can handle the mechanical work. I'm not as electrically inclined as I'd like to be, so with that being said, I was wondering if I could get some help from others that have done it.
-What do I do with the parts of the new harness that don't have anything to go to? I don't plan on swapping the seats, heated windshield/mirror components, etc.
-How should I wire up the rear cargo/tail light over the bed?
-What are some components that I need to swap over to make the harness work?
Thanks!

the engine and body harness are separate. you need to get the PCM and engine harness along with the engine and adapt a few pins/wires to your body harness.
