Hi Everyone!
I'm new to Bajas. I purchased one 3 months ago & have loved every second of it. Just one issue I've noticed, I'm having trouble seeing the where exactly the rear bumper is when backing up. The Baja body curves back along the bed & hides the rear bumper very well along with the tailgate. My previous vehicles were a '96 Toyota Corolla & a 2008 Dodge Ram single cab (both of which I can perfectly parallel park in rush hour Baltimore & DC traffic). Are there any tips & tricks to figuring out where the end of the Baja is (other than stepping out & opening the tailgate looking like an idiot who can't park his car)?
Also would it be a sin to put wingtips or something on the ends of the bumper so I can see where it is when backing up?

Re: The Secret To Reverse Baja Parking
Time and practice and I can hit it every time. Just takes a little getting used to. I parallel parked for 2 years and always took a mental note of where I ended up relative to where I thought I was. That really helped. Gave me an idea of where to work from.
