Totally awesome! Are you getting LEDs for the lights or going classic with halogens?

I'm putting those Hella's in the mock photo up front. I want the heat to keep them clear.

I'd like to add some LED's to the rear.

I've found some good deals on Amazon for true Tuff Lite LED's.

That's a good looking roof rack. I would rock it! I love my Rolo though. Strong as hell. Great find!!

As for the Tuff leds that is all I have been using. I bought all of them on amazon and have yet to have a single problem with any of them (I have 7 total).

I've only got the two 550's seen way above.

I went light installation shopping tonight...

I'm going to use the brush on tape for the joints and hardware. Then the spray on for other projects.

I got the plasti dip to play with, I always wanted to try that stuff out. I just used the can to dip a lighter and test drive the stuff. So between that and the heat shrink I bet I could drive the truck under water and the lights would still work and days later the hardware or basket won't rust.

So everything went really well.

I used the brush on electric tape on each bolt and the four parts of the tubes that mate to each other.

Then when assembled I brushed on more at the joints.

I then wrapped that in Super 88 tape twice over.

The Plastidip seems to be for the fairing, which I hope I do not need :D , I really dig the way it looks now.

Not yet.

It's just too cold to do any meticulous wiring and I don't want brittle plastic snapping on me.

I freeze my balls off all week at work in the Plant, I try not to do it for free unless I have to.

I did change the oil today...

The more I look at it the more I really like this basket. I like the angled inwards ends. I like no one else has this one, and I like how well I feel about the install.

Agreed. I feel like uniqueness is what most Baja owners go for. I know for a fact there is not another just like mine. That makes it cool. You have the only black/silver with that particular rack. It's cool.
