I'd like to trace the circuit so I can use the activity light switch independently of the parking brake.

I see the Auto Up/Down switch console made it over there too, neat.

Thanks for the 3 button tip!

Rizzo, you are correct.
The blue thing is called the "key". The female connector that fits the switch can have one of 3(or 4) key configurations. There is a bit that extends out. It will fit into that gap. The other keys would have the gap more to the right or left. Connector design specs show variances in the key placement.

This ask you suspect let's FHI use the types of connectors and terminals for all of the switches. Each one having a different keys prevents them from getting plugged into the wrong switch.

The key is sometimes referred removable.

Also, it looks like the sport lights use the P! Brake as an interlock? If you prefer not to require the p! Brake to be engaged, cut and ground the yellow wire from the sport light switch. That's what the P! Brake is doing.
Attack it near the switch not the P! Brake. Be sure you don't just ground the p brake, then the hole system thinks the brake is on.

is the wiring in place for non-Sport models? I'd love to do a LED bar attached to a roof basket but am not interested in running wire if it's not there already. :(

I used the two B+ wires from the Cargo Lights and used their ground wires for the LED light.

The cargo light button now operates the LED light.

thesavo where did you find those storage bins with the 3 switch holes? I have a canadian baja which has the cargo lamp switch in the storage bin but I have sport activity lights also ready to be installed and I would love to put my activity light switch in that storage bin area also.

P.S. Nevermind, I found it.
