Hi/Low transfer case transmission

Hello,
I have a 1978 Brat. Ithas a manual select 4wd single speed transfer case.
I do a lot of driving in the dirt and hills, etc, so a two speed transfer case would be nice.
What would I have to do to fit a 2 speed tranfser case on my truck? I am not worried about it fitting inside the cab.
Also, if there is a transmission that will mount to the engine, is it an electrically or vacuum switched unit? If so, is it possible to make it a manually selectable unit?
