SLR Motorsports Performance Chip?

I am a new owner of a 2003 Baja. I love it the way I use to love my old VWs. I have been replacing many of the worn or broken items on her with the help of this forum, and all the accumulated expertise here has been invaluable. In my search for parts and upgrades I came across a "Performance Chip" on Amazon. It makes some huge claims but I've learned, mainly the hard way, that most things that things like this can cause much more harm than good. Have any of you guys tried this chip, and if so what was your experience with it. Also if any of you can pass along some of your favorite sites for OEM parts and accessories, I would be grateful. Any other Baja junkies in southern NH?.
