When driving my '06 Sport (Auto trans) on pavement (equal traction on all 4 wheels) is the power equal (50/50) to front and rear?

i think the split is 90/10 to the front under normal operation but don't quote me on that. i use to have a 95 impreza lx with a 4eat trans and was told back then that in 3 and "D" the computer split the power up anywhere from 50/50 to the 90/10 split and if the selector was in 1 or 2 it locked it to a 50/50 split. honestly even though i drive one i have no idea about the new 4eats and even less of a clue about the sportshift autos.

I believe it is correct that on the non-VTD automatics (non-turbo models), it's a 90/10 power split by default. Under these conditions:

Low (selector lever in Low or 1st),
Reverse,
Full-throttle,

the computer switches to a 50/50 split.

The Baja turbo A/T is a VTD (variable torque distribution; a poorly-chosen description) version of the 4EAT and its split is something like 40/60 front/rear by default, or so it's been explained in the past.
