Towing a Boat

We've got a 16' outboard powered ski boat/runabout that we're planning on towing with the Baja.

Good news is that although we towed it with our Jeep for the past 5 years, the co-owners of the boat towed it with a Forrester the entire time, so we're sure the Scoobie can handle it.

I suspect the rig approaches 1500 lbs or so, maybe a TAD more.

I plan on buying the Scoobie-Doo harness and maybe the factory hitch or perhaps an aftermarket unit.

All in good time.

I'll report back once we pull with her.

1500 Lbs is well within the limits!!! I think the N/A model has a towing of 2400 lbs (when properly equiped)
