good day all
I'm in rainy northern California
and the driver side window is stuck down
I've done a little electrical trouble shooting
and it appears to be the motor which has failed
the fsm says to take the glass out to get the motor out
so l haven't tried yet....
before l head to the wreckers
wondering what other subies of the era had the same window motor?
any one know?
it's a 06 Baja
thanks

Re: Window motor compatability
Any other Baja model regardless of year or any 00-04 Legacy or Outback window motor will work since it's the exact same door parts.
Re: Window motor compatability
cool
was guessing it was the same as outback and such
thanks

Re: Window motor compatability
Yeah, general rule of thumb on the Baja with regards to replacement parts-
- Everything from the rear axle forward is 00-04 Legacy/Outback with the exception of...
- the plastic lower body panels, front grille, and suspension parts... but they can be swapped
- the factory roof crossbars, bed trim/liner, and rear window are also Baja-exclusive
- the Turbo Baja drive train is that of the 04-07 Forester XT, not Legacy
- Everything behind the rear axle is proprietary to the Baja and cannot be swapped between other models without modification
