Re: Baja Pics
Interested in your CB antenna setup......model, and how you ran the coax through to the interior? Also, did you get the antenna tuned?
Re: Baja Pics
Running the Coax was a little tricky, will take pics later. It required to take part of the bed apart.
Re: Baja Pics
First thing this was no easy task mounting the antenna. I ended up using the bed sides to mount it. There is a little rubber grommet in the front panel of the bed. I toke this out and ran the cb antenna through it, then ran it through area as where the jack is. Gently prying on that trim panel I ran the cable through there it did take a while to find the cable when I ran it through. That was the hard part then running the cable under the door sill trim and up to my CB. The model is a Cobra 19 Ultra III. The cable and the antenna I got at a Truck stop here in Town. Cable was like $30, antenna was like $25. The antenna came with a small 3ft Coax cable. The cable I got was 18ft.

Re: Baja Pics
I am very interested in how you disabled the daytime running lights? I can't STAND them! Also do you have the subi rumble from your exhaust? Thanks for the info. Nice ride btw!

Re: Baja Pics
Proud new owner of this '06 n/a 5spd. Wasn't sure where the new owners thread was, if there is one. If there is, can someone please point me in that direction?
Looking forward to getting to know some of you and being able to gain Baja knowledge from this forum.. and interested in finding the Chicagoland Baja owners and connecting if anyone can point me in that direction. I know a decent amount about the Baja, but I have a lot to learn still as well. I've wanted one for a long time, I'm looking forward to a lengthy ownership, and I'm super excited to get going in my Baja!

Which bc coilovers did you install? I didn't see Baja specific on the site.BajaMal05 wrote:My before and afters from when I bought her a year ago til now. She's temporarily an automatic, almost everything on her is new at this point. Just a few more replacements and maintenance pieces before modifications can truly begin.
She has been put on BC racing coilovers and every joint replaced cuz my suspension was fried. Hence the drop in height.
2005 Turbo, original full leather interior. She's my one true love in the world.

Re: Baja Pics
Just bought this '05 Baja XT with a 5 speed on 04/14/17. Clean body and interior, but had low compression in cylinder 2. Part of the deal was to replace the windshield and do a full rebuild on the engine. I should have the car in about 3 weeks, at which point I'll be slapping a double din HU with a backup camera in her and start upgrading the sound system.
