So my auto dimming mirror seems to have busted. Its got a permanent fog on the inside of it. I have been told because of the heat the auto dimming liquid can burst, which is what it seems happened. Anyways Im looking for a replacement auto dimming mirror for around $50 if anyone knows where to look.
edit: anyone think its possible to fix these with out replacement?

Just look on eBay for a replacement.
Re: Wanted: Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror
do the Baja come pre-wired for the autodimming mirror? I have an '06 turbo, seems the only thing it doesn't have is an auto-dimming mirror, and I miss having one.
Re: Wanted: Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror
Yep. All years of the Baja are prewired for them. Its pushed in a bit, but it is there.
Re: Wanted: Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror
cool, thanks for the confirmation. While there are quite a few new ones on Ebay, actually got the best price at subarupartswarehouse.com by a few dollars. I've wanted to replace the standard mirror since I got my Baja, after having had autodimming mirrors for like previous 10 yrs. Glad this thread popped up, reminded me I wanted one.tomato_88 wrote:Yep. All years of the Baja are prewired for them. Its pushed in a bit, but it is there.

My 2003 isn't. I had the entire headliner and sunroof switch out at the time and there was nothing extra there.tomato_88 wrote:Yep. All years of the Baja are prewired for them. Its pushed in a bit, but it is there.

My 2003 *is*... weird. On mine, there's an empty socket under the interior light panel that the autodim mirror plugs into.
