O2 Sensor Diagnostics Question(s)

Post by a_cmc_2b »

I have a 2004 Baja with the 2.5 NA Engine.

I am looking for the Specifications for the Forward/Front/#1 O2 Sensor so that I can do a full diagnostics on it before simply replacing it.

It would be great if someone could share a photo/screen shot of the factory information regarding the diagnostics of this sensor.

The Code I am getting is P0032 Front oxygen (A/F) sensor heater circuit high input.

The code for circuit high means it's turned on and rather than seeing the voltage drop from flipping the switch, it stays the same.

You should see 12v on the power line with the key on and ground on the other wire. the sensor heater should have a few ohms but be neither shorted nor open.

Sorry, don't have a wiring diagram on hand to say which wire is which.
