Towing the Baja behind a Motorhome...questions

Post by rglass1040 » Fri Jan 19, 2018 12:36 pm

I had always wanted a Baja needing a proper toad for my motorhome was the perfect excuse to finally get one. Of course I got the manual transmission model. Was lucky enough to find someone on this site who had a complete Blue Ox tow kit with the base plate and was gracious enough to make me a great deal on it.
Now the questions. There is supposedly a trailer wiring plug under the rear. Since this is used to feed back to trailer lights, has anyone tried or considered using this to light up my tail, turn and brake from the MH plug? I would be leaving the Baja electrical OFF while towing but would be supplying power to the lights from the MH.
Has anyone else had any experience towing their Baja and what issues should I be aware of?
