Obnoxious Rattle

Greetings.

I've had this annoying rattle in the rear of my Baja for some time and finally tracked it down to a plastic cover-like piece that fits underneath the bumper at the very corner of the car. The other side is loose as well but doesn't seem to rattle. I can't even figure out what it's for unless it's some kind of mud shield.

Anyone have experience with this and have a fix?

Thanks for the info. I've been searching for that rattle for weeks. Spent 2 hours under the Baja yesterday... In the rear bumper.. Lol.. Thanks

I found one of those in each rear corner of the bumper when I was installing a trailer hitch. They don't seem to have any means of fastening them in place. I've never heard them rattle; maybe that's just army and old-age-related hearing loss. Who knew there'd be an advantage to not hearing well?
