Clip Plug Holes

Post by mowillie »

If standing at the back of the Baja, looking at the top edge to the tailegate, there are 3 holes with plugs in them. Looks like they hold on the black plastic molding that "wraps" the top edge of the tailgate. Anyone know if they can be replaced if lost? Do I have to get them from the dealership or does someone have an aftermarket source?
thanks.

I found a pretty close replacement at O'Reiily Auto. Not perfect, but better than a hole.

If I can remember to look, I'll try to find the package and post the brand and number.

The plugs I found at O'Reilly are from a company called Need Parts Mfg. in Flint, Michigan.

The package says:

461240
GM
Body
Fender Apron Retainer

There are some additional numbers on the back:

OE # 11609417
C-122

This was the closest match I could find.
