I have a 2003 NA (non turbo) baja sport. Will the ECM from a 2005 NA be compatible?

I would assume there'd be no difference, but the safe bet would be to look at the numbers on the ECM's to see if they match at all...

Im trying to find out what I can about the ecm, but it seems like there are quite a few different numbers. Letter and number combination such as D1 seem to be very prominent on the actual units. Any idea what this may refer to?

Didn't the 05 get an upgraded engine that uses a MAF sensor instead of a MAP and has subarus avcs system?
From Wiki:

EJ251
SOHC Intake volume is calculated by the use of a MAP sensor, unlike the EJ253 which uses a MAF sensor. Compression ratio is 10.0: 1.
... Baja 03-04 ...

Ej253
SOHC - ISO 165 hp (123 kW) @ 5600 rpm, 166 ft·lbf (225 N·m) torque @ 4000 rpm. Intake volume is regulated by use of a MAF sensor, unlike the EJ251 which is regulated by a MAP sensor. I-Active valves (VVT intake side) on 06+ models.
... Baja 05+ ...

The 03 has the EJ251 and the 05 has the EJ253. So I'm guessing they're not compatible.
