The last trip of my move, I wanted to get everything in there. I have a twin size bed, a computer desk, and a portion of a crib in the back. then I put the computer chair and my tool box on the roof. Not to mention my computer and TV are in the cab. :)

Oh gosh. This is just from memory.

Household garbage (my driveway is 300 feet and goes up a hill so this allows me not to have to roll my trashcan up and down my driveway)
lots of alumnium cans to the recycler
lumber/building supplies
Shelves
Straw
Dog crates (no dogs in them)
Used Fiat parts
furniture (various items)
dishwasher
Minibikes
Bicycles
pushmower
gas cans

I didn't take a picture of it, but I helped my son pickup a safe from Costco, It came in at about 400 Lbs. It was a piece of cake.

No trailer needed, just back the entire car into the lake and unload/reload.

As a new Baja owner, I've nothing to contribute yet... but given my wilderness lifestyle, I hope to be competing soon! :D

In the mean time, I just wanted to say I've loved going through all these pics. Great thread! Ought to be a sticky!

As long as you secure everything you shouldn't have any problems. I've hauled furniture, appliances, exercise equipment, etc without any problem.

except... 2 items
1) A riding lawn mower that is the length or the bed with the tailgate down. I cut a piece of plywood to effectively give me a longer bed floor.
2) A queen size mattress and box spring. They we balanced and strapped to the roof rack, but I was a little uncomfortable with them staying put.

BTW - Welcome to Scoobytruck!

Mulch, topsoil, towed an 1800 pound boat/trailer combo 100 miles lately. Put in a tranny cooler. Hardly knew it was back there.
