Anybody taking their Baja on the road this holiday weekend? If so, where?

I'm not going anywhere. :(

Actually Canada's long weekend was last weekend. The Saturday I went on a zoo trip and BBQ with friends, Sunday was spent at Mosport (local race track) and Monday was spent just lazing about. Had picked up a new camera to play with so that got a good test run as well.

Going down to the track to take pictures today (weather permitting), and that's about it.

I'm working :(

I worked Friday, I had today off (more on what I did today later) and then I am testing the waters tomorrow at my wifes church, then going to work, then working monday and on through the week.

Today: On my day off, I used a friends vehicle lift and took my trail brat apart (with a bad clutch)

Removed the 1982 clutch setup (new, but slipping  )

Installed 83-84 clutch, 83-84 TO bearing, 82 transmission.

The car now moves under its own power at more than 2MPH :D

So what I did this weekend was a little yard work and fix my broken car. No relaxation for me :(

Gonna try to join the Skip-Fordyce Memorial Day Run in Riverside, California with all the Harleys before going to work. I have a Honda RC51.

I towed the atv to a trail with the Baja, and rode it for 47.5 miles, most of it in the rain!! My little nephew and I had a blast. Got her up to 50 mph in spots. Crossed 47 bridges on the trail too. Would have taken some pics, but too wet to do that. It was a good time even if the weather was crap here. Hope to do it again in a couple of weeks, and hope its not raining when we do. Mike
