Gettin a baja!

Post by Flowmastered87GL »

Well I graduated from college today... 6 years and over $100,000 later I have a bachelors in Finance :D

Much to my surprise my parents gave me a card saying they will do what it takes (financial aid and such) to get me a Baja

So.... my eyes are set on probably getting a baja sport (no leather or turbo), probably a 2006 model, new, 5 speed.

I know that 2006 is supposed to be the last year so I figure ordering around December or something would put me in a good area to get it here in January or something, then I could drive it around a bit at age 24, before getting my huge insurance break at age 25 (in March)

I dont want to risk them going out of production and miss my chance of getting a brand spanking new one.

Pretty much.

I started driving on my moms 96 outback sport back when it had like 4000 miles on it... actually I got to drive it (with a learners permit the first day... but it wasnt mine)

MY first car was my 87 GL with 215,900 miles on it when I bought it... now has 316,XXX miles and is under repair again :? (rear brakes are toast)

Gonna make it last til winter, then make sure its all in decent shape then sell it.

Congrats on the degree!
Be careful what you ask for; you just might get it.
