Suspension

Has anyone figured out how to lower a Baja without purchasing an expensive coil over setup?
What springs? What struts?

Legacy GT struts and springs would work. I got a set of used JDM Bilstein shocks and struts, which ended up making my Baja too low...scraped the ground when exiting my apartment driveway. Next need to try a combination of my two sets to see what works best.

And the front... The photo isn't of the Bilstein front, but the size is the same. Got these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HS0H8P0/ for my 2002 Outback, which uses parts compatible with the Baja.

The biggest thing I found with getting Gen 3 Legacy shocks/springs and putting them in the Baja or Outback wagon is the rear sits a bit too low, making it look like it's overloaded. To compensate, either you can fit stiffer springs, or a spacer between the chassis and top mount.
