I wish I'd had my camera the other day. Where we live, seeing a Baja every week or so is pretty normal, but there are a LOT of Subarus here in the northeast. The Wife and I were at a red light a couple of weeks ago, and every vehicle at it was a Subaru. Anyway, we ran out for lunch and I spotted 4 Bajas within a few miles of each other. 2 yellow/silver, an all silver and an all dk. blue. Add my black/silver '03 to the mix and there were 5 Bajas all in an immediate vicinity of one another. We should have got together.

Okay, finally got the warm weather wheels on. I've got a set of Powersport drilled/slotted rotors going on next week (which I should have done at the same time), but I just couldn't wait to get the new Motegi MR118s and General G-Max rubber on and the snow setup off.

Anyway, this is "SHAGGY"...

Greetings again, Its been a couple of years since I posted here. Last time was when I put on the winch . I have been working on my other AWD I found on Craig's back in August of '14. A 93 Grand Cherokee auto 4.0. Anyhow, I finally got my 1" strut pucks put on the Baja. It is now ready for some tires but that will wait for some more $$ to spend .
Here it is in the front yard

I had to get the jeep when I saw the color, I needed to replace both front axles , tie rods, track bar, ball joints and added 2" lift.
But now Its time to concentrate on the Baja again.
Cheers MJ

It's not that far out of the realm of possibility in Oklahoma!

Just got the ARE Cap back from the body shop. Found it on craigslist for free, just had to have it repainted to match. Going to install the windows this weekend.

Purchased the Baja three months ago with 53k, love the car!

Lift installed! Little bit of a custom job. 4" SJR strut tops/trailing arm, 1"HDPE blocks, 4" subframe. wheels are 18x8's with BFG KO2 255/55/18. Many Thanks to Acro2pilot and Scott from SJR. I tried to take install pics to document the process and will post to the tech section when I organize/add comments.

I will say publicly what I said to you directly, awesome result! Love the wheels! There are more of us in the big lift club now and I hope to see allot more to follow, I think this is how the truck should have shipped from Subaru.

As far as I know the big lift trucks are:

Silver one from Europe http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin ... -baja2.jpg
My 2006 (totalled)
Fellow from Oregon (can't find his user name, turbo, manual trans)
Sean Filner, sometimes sporting Mattracks
My 2004 Turbo
