Re: Baja Pics
Agree about the cool pics. I almost bought a red one but found one locally in Blue. I would like to see how mine would look like in burnt orange (Longhorn fans would appreciate it).

Even a simple trip for groceries is more fun when you find a 'mud hole' to drive through. Good thing I didn't put the groceries in the back...

At least for a day or two I'm driving a 'red clay' colored Baja!

Re: Baja Pics
Alright!! Nice video. Looks like fun!
Re: Baja Pics
You know it was fun - with the kids yelling "Do it again!" from the back seat and my wife just holding on. Today though I spent an hour or two in the driveway with the hose and a sponge (and a couple of trips through the car wash) removing the red clay.
Baja looks a lot better now...

Re: Baja Pics
its in Letchworth state park and is about an hour east of Buffalo, if you can go there you should! there is hardly any hiking involved, you can drive to pretty much everything.bulwnkl wrote:Nice pictures! Re: Baja Pics
Finally got my pictures organized from my Utah Trip, here are a few pics of the Soob owning the West!
at Arches National Park in Utah
at Canyonlands National Park
and the Grand Canyon National Park
at Capitol Reef National Park
and the Crown Jewel of Utah, Zion National Park
Parked at "Island in the sky"
oh yeah!
Our Campsite just outside Zion
View from our Campsite
Baja in front of the West Temple
in front of The Great Arch
in front of the Alter of Sacrifice
at the Grand Canyon
scenic byway 12 overlook, scenic byway 12 is the #2 rated scenic drive in the Nation... if you have an oportunity to drive it, DO IT! it was intense!
at Monument Valley in Arizona, a ton of old westerns and John Wayne movies were shot here
Overall the Baja performed pretty well. We started from Columbus Ohio and round trip back to Columbus was 5001 miles. With the bed and luggage carrier fully packed and 4 dudes i could defiantly feel a lack of power, especially in the Rockey's or any high elevation. but gas mileage was not to bad at all. i think we averaged about 25MPG's. The Back seat was a little cramped especially after 30 straight hours of driving. I love Bajas! i saw a few on the trip. and Soobies RULE the west! they are freakin everywhere! it was awesome lol
