That UTV4000 is the winch on my car trailer, I pulled a 65 chevelle up with four flat tires, two of which had come off the rim. It is a very underrated winch!

Thanks for the confirmation - comforting information.
:)

Here is another picture of my car with the bar:

And, although this isn't a video to brag about (from a safety persepctive) here is the winch in "action" as we retention the cable:

Very interesting. I'm quite tempted! This is a very awkward time, as we're in the process of buying a house.

Tell me: Will the skid plate leave sufficient clearance for most aftermarket headers? Can I still change the oil with the skid plate in place, or will I have to remove it? If remove, how is it fastened on?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.

I understand timing might be difficult for some. We are happy to pick this up later, as I mentioned. I don't want to rush anyone or make anyone feel like this has to happen now. If there is enough interest now - great. If not, I'll keep up with the post/conversation until it gains the momentum needed to get started.

As for the skid plate - we wanted to retain the strength and integrity of the skid plate so it is solid - no access holes for changing/draining oil. Although the Baja's eventual design may be different, the Impreza's bar is help on by 6 round head alan bolts. Its another 2 minutes and you can remove it with the car on ramps.

Thanks for the info. If I am able to commit, I'll request that you use almost anything OTHER THAN allen-head screws. At least for me/my use, this will be a highly rust-prone area for a fastener, and an allan head is going to strip faster than about anything I can think of. If standard hex-head bolts are deemed undesirable/unacceptable, I'd at least request Torx-heads. Just not allens, please! :)

### BUMP ###

We can throw in the powder coating FREE.

If we get no keepers by midnight - then we'll hold off on fitment and production until we can gather more interest.

Just got the email blast from the forum admins about this. Not something I'm interested in but I have to say it looks sharp and solid, so thanks for making this available. Hope it happens for everyone!
