I bought my Baja with the Snuglid already installed. I want to remove it to do some maintenance work.
How does it come off? I've tried removing the threaded knobs with the hopes that it would slide right out of the pockets on the sides. But no luck. Its in there tight & I don't want to break anything.
I've used the installation PDFs as a reference. And, I didn't see any other topics relating to my question.
Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks,
Tim

well you on the right track - sounds like the plates have gotten stuck in position. You might want to try spraying a little wd40 on the pockets to let it loosen things up a bit and then try tapping the bottom of the plates lightly to free them. the large section of cover should lift strait up and off then. Removing the small section of cover however is a real pain with a good chance of scratching the paint if you don't guard everything.
