On a 2003 baja is there a plug there already for hitch harness? I could not find it. I read it is on the right side somewhere.

It is up above the right rear (passenger side) wheel well. It is pre-wired for OEM harness and if you buy that unit, it plugs right in with no hassles or other wiring needed. The socket (female) is covered by a blank plastic "plug" (male), so the contacts don't get clogged with dirt, etc.. Once you find it, you just pull out the plug and plug in the male end of the wiring harness and you are good to go. Hope this helps...........
