awesome, Hopefully more people will get their hands on these and he'll have things in full swing again. He seemed like a straight forward guy when I talked to him last. He said he could make either design.

Yup, yup!! I contacted him a few weeks ago and he responded very quickly. I just needed a price quote. I still can't get it yet due to being unemployed, but the good news is that I have a job starting this Tuesday. I still won't get the bumper until they move me to a permanent employee since they have me as a paid temp. until I finish 500 hours. Then hopefully, they'll move me to permanent.

Then...that bumper is mine. [smilie=beadygrinner.gif] [smilie=beadygrinner.gif] [smilie=beadygrinner.gif] [smilie=beadygrinner.gif]

I keep going back and forth on the bumper. I REALLY like it, but I would miss my yellow foglights. I'm not sure which way I want to go. The bumper or keep my foglights. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

EDIT: I think I've decided to go with the mudrat. Now, I just need to save up the money.

This is the email I was using when I was talking with him to get a price: mudrat79@oregonoffroadsubaruclub.org
He seemed quite nice and answered all my questions. I just still can't afford it. [smilie=crying.gif]

Been getting some questions on the bumper lately. Figured I would bump this topic back to the top again.

I have a bumper on order with John. I cant wait to get it.

If it goes well I plan on getting a rear bumper also and a roof rack.

yes the rear bumper is what I am really interested in myself. I have popped the plastic off twice now and I have bottomed out my hitch a few times crawling around in the desert. So a metal bumper with an integral hitch would solve a few problems. I will contact John and see if he will let me post pics he sent me.

What I really want to do is all the above and then throw a 2 inch lift but I have to do this one step at a time.

It was a long time ago when I heard John talking about a rear bumper idea for the Baja's. . I would love to see what he has come up with.
